Year 11

Here are some useful resources for our Year 11 pupils.

We are running a targeted intervention on lunchtimes and after school. Please see the full timetable below. Please be aware this has recently been updated.

The LRC will be open every day after school until 4.15pm for pupils to study in.

NCS Summer Programme

NCS is the country's fastest growing youth movement. It's a government-backed programme created to enrich, challenge and empower all young people.

It is currently only £50. This is a fantastic price which includes activities, food and accommodation. There are bursaries available so everyone can experience the best summer ever.

The summer NCS programme lasts around 3 weeks with breaks in between. Its broken into phases:

Five nights away from home, getting stuck into adrenaline-fuelled outdoor activities like rock climbing, canoeing, archery and making new mates along the way. Then a couple of nights at home for some much needed rest!

You'll learn essential life skills from local business leaders and charities, gain confidence in public speaking, communicational skills and budgeting. And it all looks great on your CV.

Back home, you and your team will devise a social action project based on an issue you feel passionate about. This is your chance to feel proud by making a real difference in your community.

In such a short period of time you'll have overcome challenges, pushed yourself into new and exciting territories, and had experiences you never thought possible. So now it's time  to come together and celebrate!

If you would like to be involved, there is a box in reception to leave your forms and payment. If you have any questions or would like to discuss the NCS programme please see Mrs Waring.
