The Curriculum at Key Stage 4

It is important that students attain good grades across all eight of their GCSE and BTEC/OCR subjects. The grades in these subjects will help them to progress onto Sixth Form or college courses or apprenticeships at 16. The combination of subjects which students must take is as follows:

• English Language and English Literature
• Mathematics
• Science
• Core PE
• Core Personal Development
• One orange subject
• Two further choices (these can be any, even if it is another orange subject)
