Our enrichment programme started on Monday 16th September.
Each session on offer is delivered by Fulwood Academy staff and/ or external partners. The enrichment provisions on offer are designed to harvest and flourish hidden talents, to support and stretch academic success, to broaden the educational experience of all and to encourage pupils to challenge themselves. Each child has chosen which enrichment club they wish to join and will commit to it each week.
The enrichment clubs will start at 3pm and finish at 4pm each evening. An additional bus service has been arranged and will leave the academy at 4.10pm. This bus will go to Preston Bus Station every day. Alternatively, the service 23 bus operates from Black Bull Lane every 7 minutes.
Each pupil will have a personal passport of graduation. This will be electronically tracked and shared on a regular basis throughout the academic year. During each term, rewards will be made available to those who are on track to secure a First, Second class upper (2:1) and a Second class lower (2:2) grading.
At the end of the year pupils will have to meet the final criteria (see below) to graduate at a particular grading and therefore given access to the associated reward as a celebration of their success:
